Setting IM2 with Handphone

Here's how to set IM2 use Mobile as a modem 

Nokia N73 

Manual Configuration of 3.5 G Broadband IM2 

Start these instructions from the idle screen display of the handset 

Press `menu` and go to `Tools` 

Select `Settings` and go to `Connection` 

Select Access points `` and choose `Options` 

Select `New access point` and choose `` Use default settings

Enter the Fills as follow: 

Connection name: Broadband Im2 

Data bearer: Packet data 

Access point name: IndosatM2 

User name: (IndosatM2) in accordance with the registration 

Prompt password: yes 

Password: (prepayment) in accordance with the registration 

Authentication: Normal 

Homepage: -- 

Keep pressing `Back` until the main menu and 3.5 G Broadband IM2 configuration is completed 

Nokia E90 

Manual Configuration of 3.5 G Broadband IM2 

Start these instructions from the idle screen display of the handset 

Press `menu` and go to `Tools` 

Select `Settings` and go to `Connection` 

Select Access points `` and choose `Options` 

Select `New access point` and choose `` Use default settings

Starts these instructions from the idle screen display of the handset 

Press `menu` and go to `Settings` 

Go to `Connectivity` and select `Data comm.` 

Select `Data accounts` 

Choose `New account` and select `Account type` as Packet Data 

Enter new accounts as IM2 Broadband 

Enter the details as follow: 

APN: IndosatM2 

Username: IndosatM2 (according to registration) 

Password: prepaid (subject to registration) 

Save the settings and return back to the `Connectivity` menu

Select `Internet settings` and go to `Internet profiles` 

Select `New profile` and enter name: Broadband IM2 and connect using: Broadband Im2 

Save the settings and return back to the `Internet profiles` menu 

Under the Broadband IM2, select `More` and go to `Settings` 

Save the settings and go the `Advanced settings` from the previous `More` options 

Select `Change homepage` and enter the details as follow: 

Save the settings and 3.5 G Broadband IM2 configuration is completed

Manual Configuration of 3.5 G broadband IM2 

Starts these instructions from the idle screen display of the handset 

Press `menu` and go to `Settings` 

Go to `Connectivity` and select `Data comm.` 

Select `Data accounts` 

Choose `New account` and select `Account type` as packet data 

Enter new accounts as IM2 Broadband 

Enter the details as follow: 

APN: IndosatM2 

Username: IndosatM2 (according to registration) 

Password: prepaid (subject to registration) 

Save the settings and return back to the `Connectivity` menu

Select `Internet settings` and go to `Internet profiles` 

Select `New profile` and enter name: Broadband IM2 and connect using: Broadband IM2 

Save the settings and return back to the `Internet profiles` menu 

Under the Broadband IM2 

Select `Change homepage` and enter the details as follow: 

Save the settings and 3.5 G Broadband configuration is completed

Starts these instructions from the idle screen display of the handset 

From the `Main Menu` and go to `Tools` 

Under `Control Panel` and select `Connections` 

Select `Internet accounts` and choose `More` -> `New account` 

Select `Data` and enter the details as follow: 

Account name: IM2 Broadband 

Address: IndosatM2 

Username: IndosatM2 (according to registration) 

Password: prepaid (subject to registration) 

Select `More` and go to `Proxy` 

Select `Save` to save the settings, return back to the main menu, select `Multimedia` -> `web` 

Select `More` -> `Open` web page, enter the URL: 

3.5 G broadband IM2 completed configuration settings 

Setting the PC Suite 

Make sure the data cable has been connected with the existing mobile phone. Do not forget the PC Suite applications have also been installed on a notebook / computer. 

There are several media liaison notebook with existing mobile phone are: 

USB Data Cable 

Bluetooth 

Infra Red 

Open Nokia PC suite program. Click the Connect to the Internet. There'll display One Touch Access. 

Connection Manually. 

Since we are using Broadband IM2, the last step the contents: 

Access Point Name: IndosatM2 

Username: IndosatM2 (appropriate) 

Password: prepaid (as) 

Initial Setting on leave it blank, and then click Finish. 

Back to the One Touch Access (as in the first picture). Click the Connect button. The connection will be established by verifying username and password. Computers have been connecting to the Internet if the bottom right corner of our computer appear small computer icon.
